Ένα ακόμη σχολείο Σχολείο Ναυαγιοκατάδυσης των HUE στη νήσο Πλατουράδα ή Ακιό στο μότορσιπ Κασσάνδρα που βουλιαξε στις 2 Μαρτίου 1973.
Στη κεντρική φωτογραφία βλέπουμε να γίνονται μαθηματικοί υπολογισμοί υποβρυχίως που έχουν σχέση με θέματα όπως, χαρτογράφηση, καταναλώσεις, ειδικές και γενικές πληροφορίες για το μήκος, πλάτος , ύψος πλοίου και των χώρων του, επίλυση απλών προβλημάτων στα 30 μέτρα βάθος. Ένα ιδανικό από όλες τις πλευρές ναυάγιο για πραγματοποίηση σχολείων Basic & Advanced Wreck Penetration course. Στο σχολείο πήραν φίλοι, μετέπειτα εκπαιδευτές, και μέλη της εξερευνητικής ομάδας των HUE. Στο ναυάγιο αυτό πραγματοποιήσαμε και πολλά σχολεία εκπαιδευτών με πολύ ψηλό επίπεδο συμμετοχής και πρακτικών ασκήσεων. Εφαρμόσαμε όλες τις απαιτούμενες εκπαιδευτικές τεχνικές και διαδικασίες σε όλα τα σημεία του πλοίου έτσι ο εκπαιδευόμενος με το πέρας του σχολείου να είναι σε θέση να καταδυθεί σε οποιοδήποτε ναυάγιο. Από πλευράς εξοπλισμού οι μαθητές είχαν προστατευτικά κλείστρων, κράνη, hogarthian, stage tanks etc....

Motor ship KASSANDRA (ex. ALESSANDRO TOMEL, ex. ALESSANDRO, ex. MELGOLAND), Thessaloniki registry number 61, total capacity 469 passengers and 244 passengers, length 170 feet, built in 1918 at the ELBE AND NORDEN WERFT shipyards in BOLZENBURG, powered by a FIAT 450 BHR engine, owned by Georgios Kolovos and Ioannis Krassas. The vessel, captained by Giakoumis Chalkias and a total crew of seven, had set sail on February 27, 1973 from the port of Volos with a cargo of 580 tons of cement for Patmos, Kalymnos and Kos. At around 20.15 on the following day, 28/2/73, while sailing the South Euboean Gulf, keeping a course between the Euboean coast and the islets of Dipsa and then Akio Platourada, the captain went down to have dinner, leaving the helm to Ioannis Krassas, who was serving on the vessel as a sailor. However, half an hour later, when he returned to the bridge, he realized that the course he was following was 130-135 degrees instead of the correct 175 degrees, and at the same time he saw a rocky shore at a distance of about 150 meters. He immediately turned the helm all the way to starboard and at the same time held and revved the engine, but it was too late and the vessel ran aground on the rocky bottom near the islet of Akio Platourada. The ship was initially watertight, but then a 20-degree list to starboard occurred and water entered the hull and engine room, causing the vessel to partially sink. On March 2, 1973, the crew abandoned the vessel after tying it to the shore with two ropes from the bow to prevent it from sinking. However, both the cargo and the vessel were destroyed.
