The development of diving in Greece was based on very important personalities such as Nikos Kartelias, Manolis Papagrigorakis, by bodies such as the Greek Association of Diving Instructors with high-quality training, but also by the development of foreign diving organizations that brought a more organized logistical development combined, unfortunately, with the commercialization of diving. The sign was undoubtedly positive since our beloved diving became accessible to all people in our country.

Hellas Underwater Explorers represented for many years two very well-known American organizations, TDI (Technical Diving International) and SDI (Scuba Diving International). TDI was the big name with a long history in Technical Diving.

Στα πλαίσια της ανάπτυξής της στη χώρα μας οι HUE πραγματοποίησαν παρουσίαση του εκπαιδευτικού προγράμματος των οργανισμών στη Πάτρα με κεντρικό ομιλητή το Instructor Trainer Γιώργο Πέτρου με συνεργάτη και οργανωτή της παρουσίασης για την Πάτρα τον εκπαιδευτή Κο Νεκτάριο Κατριβέση. Παρευρέθηκε πλήθος κόσμου που παρακολούθησε με αμείωτο ενδιαφέρον την εκδήλωση.

All the educational programs of the organizations were presented in detail, both at the amateur and technical level. The correct mentality of the technical diver was at the center of the discussions and the show was stolen by the discussions on the most advanced levels such as those of decompression (Decompression Procedures diver), mixed gases Enriched Air & Trimix Diving. And as expected, for Cave Diving and Wreck Diving. Also at the event, the instructor Mr. Zochios attended and spoke.
